A giveaway for you.

It's difficult to even put the words together:  I want to say thank you. Thank you for getting me through the last 10 1/2 months.

I credit blogging and the gym for getting me through this deployment.  One million and ten percent.  Blogging and the gym.

I mean, ice cream helped.  But it wasn't enough to get me out of bed in the morning.

Thank YOU, friends.  It may not seem like you've done much.  But just knowing that you've been reading along is one of those little things that has kept me getting out of bed each day.

I would not, for anything, relive 2012.  It's been annoyingly lonely.  Tiresomely draining.

But you know what happened?  I discovered the world of blog friendships.  Friendships that feel as real as anything I've ever known.  Girls and women out there who are supportive, and caring, and funny.  I love and appreciate you all so much.

The only thing I can do to show my gratitude is a giveaway.  So...

Designed in Palmer, Alaska!
Made right here, by my neighbor.
One lucky, thoughtful, caring reader of Kristin's kNook will receive an Alaska Chicks headband, a pair of handmade earrings, and a $10 Starbucks gift card.

And while I'm not normally a fan of giveaways that force you to follow the giver, this giveaway is in appreciation of my readers.  So yes, you has gots to be a follower.

Giveaway starts today, 11/5, and ends Monday, 11/12.  Winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 13th!

Because I do really, really love y'all.  I don't care what anyone says:  I couldn't have done this last year without you.

Sharing at YOLO Monday. And Mingle Monday!

  32. If I had to live in Alaska I'd probably do lots of hiking (though hopefully not near bears) until my husband and I did all of them. Then probably hang around inside - out of the rain, haha!

PS. Way to stick through those long months! I can't imagine doing what you're doing. At least you got into the blog world! :)

  33. Hmm, well since I do live here in Alaska this is kinda hard to answer. :) I enjoy the northern lights, mountains, getting the opportunity to stay in a cabin away from civilization for a few days (but am always thankful to come home!) and the interesting people at the fair!

    ReplyDelete
  34. See the Northern Lights for sure!

  35. ooo....years ago my dream was to move to Alaska or Hawaii. Life gave me Hawaii and thank goodness! Alaska would be cold! I would continue to run inside but would love to have a job focused on the local wildlife conservation....kinda like I am doing here.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Really? Really? I'd die. I think we've already established that. Should I, one day, get to travel there, I'm sure I will enjoy it, but my body will slowly start to shut down from the cold.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Oh man, if I had to live in Alaska I would probably stay inside September-April, read a lot, and DEFINITELY have a fireplace :)

    ReplyDelete
  38. It's my intention to never ever ever have to live there! i don't handle cold well so I'd probably just start wrapping up in blankets and bringing them with me everywhere.

    ReplyDelete
  39. If I lived in Alaska I would hibernate. I am not a fan of the cold so I love reading your vents on how you despise the weather in Alaska.
