You bought this to make protein shakes with.
And I do make protein shakes with it. REALLY. I do.
But then, I discovered it has another use as well.
So, I took the liquor that is (still) left over from our wedding and I put this "blender" to good use.
It's, like, coffee. But better.
Maybe we can try it when you're home on R&R??
Seriously, we should be more like Roger Sterling and use that liquor from 2009 already.
Kahlua Iced Coffee
makes 1 large drink or 2 small drinks
1 shot Kahlua
1 shot vodka
1 cup strong coffee, cold
1/2 cup milk (I used almond milk because I'm healthy.)
2 T. cream (I used white chocolate creamer)
2 T. chocolate syrup
Whipped cream, optional
In a martini shaker (or go my redneck-route and use a shake blender), combine all the ingredients (except whipped cream) with 1 cup of ice. Shake well. Strain into a glass and garnish with whipped cream.
